Cancelation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged 50% of the amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full amount of their missed appointment. After 2 no-shows, a client will no longer be allowed to book an appointment with Moon Avenue Massage.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you are responsible for the cost of the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Contraindications and Right to Refuse Service
When we book your service through massagebook.com, you will be sent an intake form. Please fill this out accurately and thoroughly at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, as there are some absolute contraindications that prohibit you from receiving bodywork. Alcohol in the bloodstream is also an absolute contraindication for all services at Moon Avenue Massage; if you are intoxicated upon arrival, your visit will need to be canceled and/or rescheduled with a 50% service fee required for the forfeited service, before booking your next appointment. Moon Avenue Massage also retains the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, at any time during the visit.
Gratuity
Prices listed reflect your total cost per service. Thank you for your generosity, but gratuity is not accepted.
These policies are in place to ensure all clients receive the most reliable, consistent, high-quality care in every visit.
